Eunbi Jo, 29

Eunbi Jo is an award-winning flutist who has received top prizes at major national and international competitions, including First Prize and a Special Prize at the 21st International Friedrich Kuhlau Flute Competition, First Prize at the Salzburg International Competition, Second Prize at the Dong-A Music Competition (with no First Prize awarded), and the Grand Prize at the Gyeongju Chamber Orchestra Competition. She has also won First Prize at the Eumyeon Music Competition and the National Student Music Competition hosted by the Korea Music Association, and has been a prizewinner at numerous other national competitions. She was an Academy Member of the Pacific Music Festival in 2024 and 2025 and a scholarship recipient of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Hannover. As both a soloist and orchestral musician, she has performed with the Gimcheon City Philharmonic Orchestra, Gyeongju Chamber Orchestra, and others, and has served as Principal Flute of the Solasian Youth Orchestra, as well as a guest musician with several professional ensembles. She graduated Seoul National University and completed her master’s degree at the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover with the highest distinction by unanimous decision. She is currently enrolled in the Soloklasse Konzertexamen program at HMTMH.
