Der stilles akkompagnatør til rådighed ved selve konkurrencen.
Ansøgeren afholder selv rejse- og opholdsudgifter.

Solo:

C.D. von Dittersdorf: Koncert nr 2, 1. sats med kadence og 2. sats uden kadence eller J.B. Vanhal: Koncert, 1. sats med kadence og 2. sats uden kadence. (Ansøger kan frit benytte edition og kadence)

og

S. Koussevitsky: Koncert, 1. sats eller G. Bottesini: Koncert No 2., 1. sats med kadence

Samt kammermusik og et antal orkesteruddrag, som kan downloades via flg. link:

Hele konkurrenceprogrammet spilles i orkesterstemning.

1. runde og 2. runde spilles bag skærm

Løn og ansættelsesforhold i henhold til gældende overenskomst for musikere i landsdelsorkestrene.
Lønnen udgør:
1. solo: kr. 35.237,83 pr. md.
Pension: 17,00 %

Ansøgere med andet statsborgerskab end dansk bedes selv holde sig underrettet om reglerne for opholds- og arbejdstilladelse for statsborgere fra det pågældende land.

Odense Symfoniorkester er et landsdelsorkester med 65 musikere og 16 tekniske-/administrative medarbejdere. Orkestret, som har hjemsted i Odense Koncerthus, har et årligt publikumstal på godt 85.000. Kernen i orkestrets virke er symfoniske koncerter. Dertil kommer skole- og familiekoncerter, kirke- og kammerkoncerter, operaforestillinger og cd-indspilninger. Odense Symfoniorkester turnerer desuden regelmæssigt i ind- og udland. Det årlige budget er på cirka 60 mio. kr..

The audition will take place in the concert hall, Odense, Friday 9th May 2025

Application deadline: the 23rd April 2025.
The jury reserves the right to invite a limited number of applicants.
Invited applicants will be notified by email the 25th April 2025.
The orchestra will provide an accompanist for the audition.
Travel and accommodation are at the applicant’s own expense.

The audition repertoire is:

Solo:

C.D. von Dittersdorf: Concerto no. 2, 1st mov. with cadenza and 2nd mov. without cadenza OR J.B. Vanhal: Concerto, 1st Mov. with cadenza and 2nd mov. without cadenza. (Applicants are free to use any edition and cadenza)

and

S. Koussevitsky: Concerto, 1st mov OR G. Bottesini: Concerto No 2., 1st mov. with cadenza

Full program to be played in orchestra tuning at the audition.

1st and 2nd round will be played behind a screen.

Salaries and working conditions are in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Musicians Union and Dansk Erhverv.
This amounts to:
1st solo 35.237,83 DKK/month.
Pension: 17,00 %

Applicants with citizenship other than EU/EØS are responsible for obtaining valid residence and work permits by the time of employment in Denmark.

Odense Symphony Orchestra is a regional orchestra with 65 musicians and a technical-/administrative staff of 16 employees. The orchestra is based in Odense Concert Hall and has an annual audience of approx. 85.000. The core activity is the performance of symphonic concerts. In addition to this the orchestra’s schedule includes school and family concerts, church and chamber concerts, opera performances and CD recordings. The orchestra tours regularly in Denmark and abroad. The annual budget is approx. 60 million DKK.
