Galya Kolarova
Bulgarian-born pianist Galya Kolarova received her musical education in Bulgaria, Denmark, Austria, and Italy.
Ms. Kolarova enjoys a distinguished international career, performing as both a soloist and chamber musician in prestigious concert halls across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She collaborates regularly with musicians from leading orchestras, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Danish Orchestra, and the Copenhagen Philharmonic.
An accomplished collaborative pianist, Ms. Kolarova has participated in major international competitions, including the ARD International Music Competition (Germany, 2017), the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition (Denmark, 2019 and 2022), the Pancho Vladigerov International Violin Competition (Bulgaria, 2019), and the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition (Russia, 2019).
Her discography includes recordings for Claudio Records, Brilliant Classics, Aulicus Classics, and Danacord Records.
From 2017 to 2022 Ms. Kolarova worked at the Danish National Radio as a pianist and piano teacher at the Malko Academy for Young Conductors; and since 2020 has been a collaborative pianist at The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
